PUBLIC NOTICE OF TAX COLLECTION

I, LeRoy J. Wood, Village Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer and Tax Collector for the Village of Nunda, Livingston County, New York have received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes levied for the fiscal year June 1, 2023 through May 31, 2024, and I will be present at the Village Clerk’s Office located in the Nunda Government Center, 4 Massachusetts Street, in said Village starting June 1, 2023 through July 1, 2023, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and Fridays 9:00 a.m. through 11:00 a.m. of each day for the purpose of receiving taxes assessed upon such roll without penalty. On all taxes remaining unpaid after July 1, 2023, pursuant to Real Property Tax Law Section 1432 an interest charge will be added as follows: July 5%, August 6% and September 7%. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that pursuant to the provisions of law the tax roll of the Village of Nunda, to include all unpaid tax bills, will be returned to the County Treasurer of the County of Livingston on the 1st day of October 2023.
